Questions
Forklift Job Questions
Do I need a forklift licence in Ontario?
Ontario has no government forklift licence. Employers must make sure operators are trained, so they ask for a forklift training certificate and often test you on their own equipment. Upload your certificate with your application.
I do not have a forklift certificate. Can I still apply?
Yes, for general warehouse jobs. Forklift jobs need a training certificate, and you can complete a course with an Ontario training provider first. Tell your recruiter what you have.
Which lift types do you place operators on?
Counterbalance, reach truck, order picker and walkie stacker. Tell us which you are trained and experienced on, and we match you to the same type.
Is there a fee?
No. A temporary help agency cannot charge workers a fee in Ontario, and we never do.
